The PAC-CI / PRISME-CI Scientific Days, held on February 2 and 3, 2026 in Abidjan, were a resounding success, both due to the strong mobilization of stakeholders and the wealth of scientific exchanges and the quality of the presentations.

Under the theme “30 years of health research: assessment, innovations, and prospects”, this edition brought together researchers, clinicians, decision-makers, technical and institutional partners around major public health issues, including HIV, non-communicable diseases, viral hepatitis, and tuberculosis. The communications and panels allowed for a solid scientific assessment, sharing of innovative results, and opening of promising prospects for research and health improvement in Côte d'Ivoire.

The quality of the speakers, both national and international, was unanimously praised. Their contributions fostered constructive debates, concrete experiences, and operational recommendations, thus reinforcing the central role of research in guiding health policies and practices.

These Scientific Days also marked a high point in celebrating the 30 years of existence of the PAC-CI Program, marking three decades of commitment to research and public health. The activities were concluded with a gala dinner, a moment of conviviality and recognition, bringing together partners and key stakeholders around this historic milestone.

Held at the Radisson Blu Hotel Abidjan, the 2026 PAC-CI / PRISME-CI Scientific Days thus confirm their status as a reference scientific event, actively contributing to the prominence of health research in Côte d'Ivoire and the sub-region.
