Abidjan | PAC-CI / PRISME-CI Scientific Conference 2026

The PAC-CI / PRISME-CI Program Scientific Conference, held on February 2 and 3, 2026, in Abidjan, was a resounding success, thanks to the strong participation of stakeholders, the richness of the scientific discussions, and the high quality of the presentations.

Under the theme “30 Years of Health Research: Assessment, Innovations, and Outlook,” this year’s event brought together researchers, clinicians, policymakers, and technical and institutional partners to address major public health issues, including HIV, noncommunicable diseases, viral hepatitis, and tuberculosis. The presentations and panel discussions provided a solid scientific assessment, allowed for the sharing of innovative findings, and opened up promising prospects for research and improvements in public health in Côte d’Ivoire.

The caliber of the speakers—both national and international—was unanimously praised. Their contributions fostered constructive debates, concrete lessons learned, and actionable recommendations, thereby reinforcing the central role of research in shaping health policies and practices.

These Scientific Days also served as a highlight in the celebration of the PAC-CI Program’s 30th anniversary, marking three decades of commitment to research and public health. The events concluded with a gala dinner—a moment of fellowship and recognition—bringing together partners and key stakeholders to mark this historic milestone.

Held at the Radisson Blu Hotel Abidjan, the 2026 PAC-CI / PRISME-CI Scientific Days thus reaffirmed their status as a leading scientific event, actively contributing to the advancement of health research in Côte d’Ivoire and the subregion.
