Objectives
Main Objectives
Assess whether an intervention combining (i) training community midwives to identify and monitor pregnancies at risk for obstetric complications in their villages or neighborhoods, (ii) integrating these midwives into the health care system, and (iii) the use of a smartphone-based digital decision-support app tailored to their profile—can increase (by at least 10%) the proportion of births among women with high-risk pregnancies occurring at the health facilities included in the study after 10 months of intervention.
