𝐃𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐮𝐞𝐂𝐀𝐑𝐄: 𝐏𝐀𝐂-𝐂𝐈/𝐏𝐑𝐈𝐒𝐌𝐄 𝐂𝐈 𝐞𝐭 𝐬𝐞𝐬 𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐚𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐬 𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐬 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐞 𝐥𝐚 𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐮𝐞

𝐋𝐞 𝐣𝐞𝐮𝐝𝐢 𝟏𝟔 𝐚𝐯𝐫𝐢𝐥, The 𝐏𝐀𝐂-𝐂𝐈/𝐏𝐑𝐈𝐒𝐌𝐄 𝐂𝐈 hosted the kick-off meeting for the 𝘿𝒆𝙣𝒈𝙪𝒆𝘾𝑨𝙍𝑬, a research initiative conducted in Côte d’Ivoire with the support of institutional, scientific, and technical partners committed to combating dengue.

Supported in particular by the 𝙈𝙚𝙙𝙞𝙘𝙖𝙡 𝙍𝙚𝙨𝙚𝙖𝙧𝙘𝙝 𝙁𝙤𝙪𝙣𝙙𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣, the project brings together 𝐏𝐀𝐂-𝐂𝐈/𝐏𝐑𝐈𝐒𝐌𝐄 𝐂𝐈,𝗹𝗮 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 𝗼𝗳 𝗚𝗲𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗽𝗵𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗘𝗻𝘃𝗶𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗱𝗲 𝗹’𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗲́ 𝗱’𝗢𝘅𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗱 united by a common goal: to better understand the impact of climate and the environment on dengue in order to strengthen prevention and response.

Led by 𝘿𝙧 𝙀𝙡𝙡𝙚𝙣 𝘿𝙮𝙚𝙧 and 𝙡𝙚 𝘿𝙧 𝘼𝙣𝙖𝙣𝙞 𝘽𝙖𝙙𝙟𝙚́ é and coordinated by 𝘿𝙧 𝙔𝙖𝙤 𝘼𝙗𝙤 , as project leader , DengueCARE aims to advance research, collaboration among stakeholders, and the capacity to respond to this disease transmitted by Aedes mosquitoes.

This meeting provided an opportunity to present the project’s objectives, working groups, and activity schedule, within a framework of equitable partnership in the service of public health.

The project’s launch was also featured in the April 17 edition of the newspaper *Fraternité Matin*.

Through DengueCARE, PAC-CI:PRISME CI continues its commitment to research that is practical, collaborative, and grounded in the realities of local communities.
